Blomst adresses the lighting eye sore of RGB LED strips, a popular element of self-expression in many teenager’s living spaces. The pillar-inspired design draws from the aesthetic of LED strips when placed in the corners of a living space, but uses new materials to elevate the light’s visual quality. When dim, the luminaire blends seamlessly into the corner, much like the light strips in their standard form. When lit the light unveils a hand painted pattern, transforming the space with a much more intentional and stylistic lighting effect.
